Mae and Millie began as a solution to a family-wide issue: dryness. Four out of five of us suffered from eczema flare ups. At one time or another, someone was diagnosed with psoriasis and rosacea. Dry hair has been problematic as well. No matter how much water we drank, our hair remained dry and brittle. The amount of money spent on over the counter and prescribed products strained our finances at times. We grew tired of the whole thing.
An attempt to solve one problem turned into a solution for them all. We wanted to make a product that moisturized from head to toe. We researched and created a satisfying solution using ingredients we already owned. The combination worked well on our hair and skin. It moisturized for days.
Mae and Millie began that day. Our butters have been on the shelf and in homes since then. We've grown, but haven't abandoned our initial causes. We're turning dry skin into silky skin one product at a time, and we listen.
Yes, Mae and Millie is a listening company. Many of our products were suggested by loyal customers that had different needs than ours.
